MSF seeks journalists, photographers, filmmakers, and newsrooms to collaborate, build communities of practice, and assist humanitarian actors in gaining a deeper understanding of crises and contexts while working compassionately.

The Without Borders Media Fellowship is committed to promoting ongoing reporting and outreach regarding the intricate interplay of factors affecting public health and humanitarian crises. These factors encompass planetary health, social class, crime and violence, urban development, access to healthcare resources, diagnosis and treatment, transportation, city planning, and disparities in healthcare access.

The fellowship has several objectives. Secondly, it utilizes multimedia storytelling techniques to raise public awareness and sensitize individuals to these critical challenges. Scholarship Benefits:

• Award range between INR 50,000 to INR 2,00,000, determined by individual circumstances

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a media professional with proven expertise in writing about gender, public health, development, public policy, or related topics.
• Journalists working for both English and regional language publications are eligible to apply for this fellowship opportunity.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field.
