Applications are now open for the Beijing Government Scholarship 2027 at Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). The scholarship is designed to attract talented international students who wish to study in Beijing, China, across undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, foundation, exchange, and selected non-degree programmes.

Funded by the Beijing Municipal Government, this scholarship helps reduce the financial burden of studying in China by covering tuition fees and, depending on the scholarship category, accommodation, living expenses, and medical insurance.

Scholarship Benefits

The Beijing Government Scholarship is available under three funding categories.

Category A (Fully Funded)

Category A offers the highest level of financial support and may include:

Most newly admitted undergraduate, master’s, and non-degree international students are typically awarded Category C.


Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following conditions before submitting an application.

General Eligibility

  • Must be a non-Chinese citizen.
  • Must be in good physical and mental health.
  • Must satisfy the admission requirements of the selected programme.
  • Should have a minimum average score of 80/100 or a GPA of 3.0.
  • Must meet the age requirement for the chosen study level.

Scholarship Duration
