Scholarship Benefits:

• A full-time one-year studentship is open for the academic year 2023-24.
• The studentship covers full tuition fees for MSc Public Health for Eye Care at the overseas fee rate.
• It includes a tax-free stipend of GBP 19,500.00, which can be used towards living costs, flights, visa fees, and the international health surcharge.
• Additionally, GBP 1,500.00 is provided to cover MSc project costs.
• Upon completion of the course, an amount of GBP 1,100.00 is granted to be used for attending the Alumni Workshop during the graduation ceremony week.

This scholarship is open to all overseas applicants who hold an LSHTM offer of admission for the MSc Public Health for Eye Care course.

How to Apply:

In order to qualify for the funding, applicants need to satisfy all eligibility requirements and accomplish two stages specified below within the scholarship deadline of 23:59 (BST) on Sunday 16 April 2023. The application process comprises of two steps.

Step 1:

To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must submit a 2023-24 application for study for the MSc Public Health for Eye Care, with all necessary supplementary documents submitted via the School’s Admissions Portal by the scholarship deadline.

1. Provide evidence of meeting LSHTM’s English Language requirements by May 2023.

If applicants have already submitted a completed application or have been made an offer for the MSc Public Health for Eye Care, they can apply for the scholarship by completing Step 2 of the application process by the scholarship deadline.

Step 2:

To apply for the Lt Col Henry Kirkpatrick Scholarship, applicants must submit an online scholarships application and select the ‘2023-24 Lt Col Henry Kirkpatrick Scholarship’ option from the drop-down menu. A completed 2023-24 Supplementary Questions Form for this scholarship must also be uploaded as part of the application. This is the only attachment required in Step 2, as applicants should have already submitted their references, transcripts, and CV with their application for study.
