TheDream.US National Scholarship 2025 Opens for Dreamers

TheDream.US has announced applications for the 2025-26 National Scholarship, providing a major financial support opportunity for undocumented students, DACA recipients, and students with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) who want to pursue undergraduate education in the United States.

The scholarship program offers up to $16,500 for an associate degree and up to $33,000 for a bachelor’s degree, helping talented students overcome financial challenges and access higher education opportunities.

TheDream.US follows the mission that “talent knows no status” and has already supported more than 12,000 Dreamer students across the United States through scholarships, mentorship, and college support programs.

Eligibility Criteria for TheDream.US National Scholarship

Applicants must meet specific academic, immigration, and enrollment requirements to qualify for the scholarship.

Immigration Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be first-generation immigrant students who are undocumented, with or without DACA or Temporary Protected Status (TPS).
  • Have entered the United States before November 1, 2020.
  • Have entered the U.S. before turning 16 years old.
  • Have maintained continuous residence in the United States since arrival.

Academic Requirements

Eligible students must:

  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Graduate from a U.S. high school before Fall 2026.
  • Be current high school seniors or college students meeting the academic criteria.

Enrollment Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Enroll full-time in an associate or bachelor’s degree program.
  • Attend one of TheDream.US partner colleges.
  • Begin their studies by Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
  • Demonstrate significant financial need.

TheDream.US Scholarship Benefits and Financial Support

Selected students receive comprehensive financial assistance to reduce the cost of undergraduate education.

Degree Funding

Scholarship recipients can receive:

  • Up to $33,000 for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Up to $16,500 for an associate degree.

Additional Educational Support

The scholarship may also provide:

  • Up to $6,000 stipend for books, transportation, and supplies.
  • Renewable funding throughout the duration of the degree.
  • College advising and academic support.
  • Career guidance and mentorship opportunities.

TheDream.US Opportunity Scholarship for Locked-Out States

Students living in states where undocumented students face restrictions related to tuition costs or college enrollment may apply for the Opportunity Scholarship.

This scholarship provides up to $100,000 toward a bachelor’s degree at selected partner institutions.

Partner Colleges for Opportunity Scholarship

Eligible partner colleges include:

  • Christian Brothers University – Tennessee
  • Delaware State University – Delaware
  • Dominican University – Illinois
  • Eastern Connecticut State University – Connecticut
  • Trinity Washington University (Women’s College) – Washington, D.C.

For students in North Carolina, Wingate University in Union County serves as an in-state partner institution for the National Scholarship.
